About Lynette

Lynette Brodoway is a well respected professional barrel racer, horse training, clinician and overall horsewoman.

Lynette has dedicated her life to continually furthering her horsemanship skills and mentoring others in doing the same. Although her primary focus is barrel racing and she is an active pro rodeo contestant, Lynette has remained dedicated to broadening her skills by seeking experience and knowledge in various disciplines. She believes that as horsemen, we must "never stop learning". This outlook and willingness to learn has taught Lynette how to recognize a horse's individual turning style, and support them in performing as the individual they are. Honoring the horses truest style and turning technique has proven to be a winning formula for her, and the horses she trains.

In her Brodoway Training clinics, Lynette helps riders develop the "feel" necessary to recognize the unique style of their own horses. When students can discover how their horse is built to naturally travel, the sky becomes the limit and true partnerships are built.

Lynette Brodoway comes from a long line of competitive team ropers, which taught her how to handle the pressure and demand of competition. Lynette is a champion on the professional and amateur rodeo circuits, and in the futurity and derby events. Lynette is a six time Canadian Finals Rodeo qualifier, American Semi Finals qualifier, two time Calgary Stampede Qualifier and CBHI Futurity and Derby short-go qualifier. Her list of accomplishments is long and she is proud to embrace the victories and challenges that her profession brings. Most especially, she appreciates the challenges - where she learns the most, grows the most and becomes a better person because of.
